My Coaching Approach
I use a behavior-based model that emphasizes skill-building, daily/consistent practice and a progressive series of actions to help you achieve your chosen health goals. You get help with overcoming your biggest nutrition challenges including stress eating, and making it simpler to plan quality nutritious food you enjoy. Improvements in activity, sleep and right-sizing your stress are equally emphasized. We start with where you are now to where you want to be, step-by-step, scaled to your degree of being ready, willing and able. I help you be accountable and stay on track.
Health span is a currency you can improve
I help you tap into your strengths to guide you toward your health goals. Small consistent changes can add up big overtime. Doing one thing daily just 1% better leads to up a 37% improvement over a year. Ever hear of Hofstadter’s law? “It always takes longer than you expect, even when you take into account Hofstadter’s law.” Our world is fast paced, we can distract so easily. It’s hard to go slow and consistent! But that is how it is done. Coaching, and support from others can make an enormous difference.

It’s a sad fact that on average we are outliving our health span by 12 years in undesirable health. 7 of the 10 leading causes of death in the US are directly affected by diet. We have more choice about healthy aging than we realize. Health optimization is a choice that requires regular effort and practice. No matter where you are you can lean into healthier living being a positive experience. You are a critical factor in your own development. You have the resources to change for the better. You can deliberately influence and control many of these changes! I am committed to supporting you with a healthier lifestyle, so that you can thrive, and influence those around you toward better health outcomes. Everyone is better off when we make this effort!
